In the first year more than 300 patients were included from a total of 18 adult and 5 pediatric centres.<\/p>\n<p>Qualified for inclusion are patients with a physician diagnosed severe asthma. Differential diagnoses have to be excluded. The patient should be treatment compliant and educated in correct inhaler use.<\/p>\n<p>Adult and pediatric patients need to fulfill the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inclusion criteria\u00a0adult patients (<a href=\"http:\/\/germanasthmanet.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/GAN_Definition-schweres-Asthma-27.11.2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">German version<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Inclusion criteria\u00a0pediatric patients (<a href=\"https:\/\/germanasthmanet.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/definition_schweres_asthma_kinder.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">German version<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The registry was founded in December 2011.
